Humble Design San Diego – When A House Becomes A Home

You are joyfully invited to join Humble Design San Diego and our partners from ASID San Diego for the screening of our World Design Capital 2024 film, When a House Becomes a Home, a Top Content production. Following the film screening, attendees will be treated to a conversation with the filmmaker and several members of the film’s cast.

This documentary will spotlight the inspiring stories of four Humble Design clients’ journeys through and out of homelessness and highlight the supportive community surrounding Humble’s mission to welcome people home so that lives are changed for good.

At the intersection of homelessness and design, Humble Design brings together community stakeholders to leverage the transformational power of creativity, research, and humanity-centered design to show that having a home – rather than merely having a house – helps our neighbors to break the cycle of homelessness and empowers people to thrive.
