San Diego Opera at Park & Market
About this event
Opera Uncorked
Go deeper with San Diego Opera productions at Opera Uncorked, a new series exploring everything you need to know about the operas in our season.
The 2024/25 season features one Opera Uncorked event for each of the season’s operas, plus a special evening in January where General Director David Bennett will be joined by special guests to discuss and celebrate the Opera’s 60-year history.
Each Opera Uncorked event features a presentation on the operas you’ll see by Resident Conductor Bruce Stasyna that promises to be every bit as scintillating as the wine just served at the wine and cheese reception. Bruce will discuss the history of each opera, what to listen for in the upcoming performances at the San Diego Civic Theatre, and some of the interesting challenges and fun facts of producing opera.
Opera Uncorked takes place downtown at UC San Diego’s remarkable Park & Market location in East Village. Tickets are $15, or you can buy all four events with a money-saving $50 package. Tickets may be purchased by phone at (619) 533-7000, or by clicking the links below.
