The theme of the SDBWC’s 3rd Annual Black in Front Summit is “Beyond Survival: Building Black Ecosystems & Creating Our Own Tables”. This one-day summit is rooted in collective power to explore moving beyond survival and building Black ecosystems.
The “Black In Front” Summit prioritizes Black voices and Black workers within the Labor movement, while engaging in dialogue about moving beyond trying to fix broken systems and focusing on how Black workers can build ecosystems that prioritize needs. The summit continues to create spaces for Blackworkers to feel safe, appreciated and above all, heard.
